Susan Lewis Susan is from Raleigh, NC and attended Davidson College where she earned her BS in Psychology. She graduated from Union-PSCE and Virginia Commonwealth University with her M.Div./MSW. She is an ordained Minister of the Word and Sacrament in the Presbyterian Church (USA) and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of North Carolina. She has completed training programs at an outpatient mental health agency in Amelia County, VA and at University Counseling Services of Virginia Commonwealth University. Susans on-going professional development includes training in unresolved grief and anger in children, adolescents, and adults, self-injurious behavior in adolescents, and Cognitive-Behavioral interventions for the treatment of anxiety. Susan provides psychotherapy for individuals, families, and couples who are experiencing grief, stress, anxiety, depression, or difficulty in relationships. She especially enjoys working with children, adolescents, and their parents. |
