The logo of Presbyterian Samaritan Counseling Center (PSCC) is an ancient and familiar image called a Triquetra. The three interlocking shapes of the Triquetra have symbolized throughout the centuries many things to many people. For the ancient Celtic community, they represented the interdependent nature of the created world; when Christians began to journey and settle in Ireland and Scotland, this symbol took on an additional meaning of representing the Trinity - the mystery of the three-in-one: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. For PSCC, the Triquetra symbolizes the heart of the core values that guide our mission of providing sanctuary for hope and healing, as we seek to welcome all who come bearing heavy burdens. These values are:

Faith in a God of love, known to us in many ways, one of which is in the Trinity as Creator, Sustainer, and Redeemer

Belief that our Mind, Body, and Spirit are intertwined, and the health of each impacts the health of the whole person

An understanding that an interrelationship of community, culture, and the individual is always present, and the health of an individual, a couple, a family, or a congregation impacts the health of the community, the city, the nation, and the world.

Presbyterian Samaritan Counseling Center seeks to live out its mission, respectful of the faith of any who enter our doors, through providing interdisciplinary psychotherapy, pastoral counseling, psychological assessments, ministry development opportunities, and educational services at an affordable cost by well-educated, skilled, and compassionate clinical staff.
